Freezer Warehouse Operative – Hayes

We are recruiting reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives with previous freezer experience to join a busy warehouse operation based in Hayes.

IMPORTANT: This role involves working within a freezer environment of approximately -34°C to -36°C, therefore previous experience working in freezer conditions is required.

The role will involve picking and packing orders, preparing pallets and assisting drivers with loading and unloading.

Role: Freezer Warehouse Operative Location: Hayes Working Days: Monday – Friday Start Time: 06:00 AM Environment: Freezer (-34°C to -36°C)

PAY

Basic Hourly Rate: £12.80 Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £1.77 Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £14.57

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

· Picking and packing orders accurately

· Preparing and organising pallets

· Moving and handling stock within the freezer

· Assisting drivers with loading and unloading vehicles

· Ensuring orders are prepared correctly and efficiently

· Keeping the warehouse and working areas organised

· Following all warehouse procedures and Health & Safety requirements

· Working effectively as part of the warehouse team

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

· Previous freezer warehouse experience is REQUIRED

· Must be comfortable working in temperatures of -34°C to -36°C

· Previous picking and packing experience

· Comfortable with manual handling and physical warehouse work

· Reliable and punctual – 06:00 AM starts

· Good attention to detail

· Able to work efficiently as part of a team
