Fruit Picking Operative Location: Farm-based role

Pay Rate: £13.71 per hour

Accommodation: Available

Work Pattern: 7 days per week, 1 day off per week

About the Role We are looking for hardworking and reliable Fruit Picking Operatives to join a busy seasonal farm growing strawberries and raspberries in poly tunnels. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy practical work and are able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Duties

Picking strawberries and raspberries grown in tunnels. Picking fruit from raised tabletops, meaning minimal bending is required. Working to piecework targets while maintaining high-quality standards. Sizing and sorting fruit as you pick.

Using trolleys to assist with moving trays of fruit. Planting and carrying out general plant husbandry tasks. Preparing plants for overwintering. Removing old plants and grow bags at the end of the picking season.

Carrying out some heavier lifting when required. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area. Requirements:

Full UK driving licence required. Basic English language skills required. Previous agricultural or fruit-picking experience is beneficial but not essential. Ability to work quickly and efficiently. Physically fit and able to carry out manual work, including occasional heavy lifting. Good attention to detail when picking and sorting fruit. Reliable and willing to work flexible days. Comfortable working in different weather conditions.

Working Hours The farm operates 7 days a week. Workers will receive 1 day off per week, which may vary from week to week. If you require a particular day off, this can be requested in advance from your supervisor, subject to operational requirements. What We Offer:
