Full Mix Marketing Manager - Build From Scratch (Hands-On, Solo Role)

Want to build a marketing function from scratch, do every bit of it yourself, and make building maintenance the most interesting thing on someone's LinkedIn feed? Read on.

"Building maintenance marketing." We know. It doesn't exactly scream thrilling.

Then you meet the team abseiling down the Shard at dawn.

Teams that look like Ghostbusters abseiling down London's tallest buildings. Centuries-old stone being carefully restored by hand. Cutting-edge tech meeting historical craftsmanship. The kind of work that makes tourists stop and stare.

We don't just maintain buildings, we're the guardians of London's skyline. From the Shard to St. Paul's, from Georgian townhouses to brutalist masterpieces, we keep the city's most iconic structures standing tall.

Your mission? Build our marketing function from the ground up, and tell that story yourself.

There's no marketing team here. No agency on retainer. No PR firm. Just you, a blank page, and some of the best stories in the built environment.

You'll write the copy, build the Google Ads campaigns, pitch the journalists, run the LinkedIn, organise the events, and report on the numbers.

Strategy in the morning, keyword bids and press releases in the afternoon. It's busy, it's full on, and it's all yours.

Before you read on, a quick honesty check:

This role is not for you if your recent years have been spent leading a marketing team and directing agencies. We need someone who is still doing the work, and loves doing it. If you'd need to brief an agency to run Google Ads or get press coverage, this isn't the right fit.

This role is for you if you've come from any B2B sector where you've been the marketing person (or one of a very small team), and you've rolled your sleeves up across the whole mix.

The Role at a Glance:

Marketing Manager (Hands-On, Build From Scratch)

Remote Working

£50,000 - £70,000 DOE

Plus Benefits

Company: Building Maintenance Without Limits

Values: Integrity, Attention to Detail, Fun, Innovation, Adaptability

Your Background: Hands-on, full-mix marketing in a B2B services business. Proven experience personally delivering Google Ads and PR, not managing others who do.

The Opportunity

You'll build it all. Then you'll run it all.

Strategy. Execution. Performance. There's no existing function to inherit, which means no legacy to untangle and no committee to get past. You'll set up the foundations, the plan, the channels, the tracking, the reporting, and then deliver every piece of it yourself.

And you'll prove its impact with data, because this role demands a commercial operator, not a vanity-metrics marketer.
