Full-Stack Developer (Django + Vue.js, AI) part-time

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer with strong Django and Vue.js experience for a part-time project.

About the Project
You’ll join an Israeli client’s project that uses AI to analyse events in video. You’ll work alongside the client’s technical lead on the same codebase, with a clear split of tasks between you.

Engagement Details

  • Part-time, remote

  • Around 300 hours over approximately 12 weeks (possibly less)

  • Reasonable overlap with Israel working hours (UTC+2) is required

  • Weekly hours and start date to be agreed

What You’ll Do

  • Build and deliver features end to end using Django on the backend and Vue.js on the frontend.

  • Integrate AI capabilities into the product, including video and event analysis.

  • Clarify requirements directly with the client and turn them into well-scoped tasks.

  • Own your tasks from implementation through testing.

  • Communicate progress, risks and blockers proactively.

Requirements

  • 5 years of professional experience.

  • 2-3+ years of commercial experience with Django.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js.

  • Practical experience integrating AI into real products.

  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver results.

  • Excellent spoken and written English (B2+), and confidence working directly with the client.

  • Reliable part-time capacity for the whole engagement.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with video processing or computer vision (e.g. OpenCV, YOLO, FFmpeg).

  • Experience with event detection or video analytics systems.

  • Previous freelance or part-time project experience with international clients.
