Role Description The Global Student Employment Journey Lead is a full-time onsite role based in Greenford, London responsible for designing and overseeing the end-to-end employability journey for students across GEDU’s global portfolio. This role coordinates career readiness initiatives, including skills development, internship and placement pathways, and employer engagement, ensuring students receive consistent, high-quality support from enrollment through graduation and beyond.

Day-to-day activities include analyzing student employment data, mapping the student journey, defining key touchpoints, and collaborating with academic and student services teams to embed employability into curricula and co-curricular activities. The role also involves building strategic partnerships with employers, organizing career-related events, and maintaining digital platforms and resources that guide students through job search, networking, and professional growth.

Lead will regularly review processes, gather feedback from students and stakeholders, and implement improvements to enhance outcomes and the overall student experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience in student employability, career services, or talent development, including designing end-to-end student or learner journeys.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across international teams, institutions, and functions.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain employer partnerships, and familiarity with global labor market trends and recruitment practices.
  • Competence in data analysis and reporting to track outcomes, identify gaps, and inform continuous improvement of employability initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse student populations and external partners.
  • Experience working in international or multi-campus education environments; prior work with higher education or private education providers is an advantage.
  • Comfort with digital tools and platforms for career services, student engagement, and remote collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business, human resources, psychology, or a related field; a master’s degree is beneficial.
