In Financing Solutions our goal is to provide debt financing, risk solutions, and first‑class advisory services for UK and European corporate and private equity clients. We cover a broad range of specialisms, including acquisition financing, specialist asset‑backed financing, leveraged buyouts, infrastructure financing, and project finance for greenfield renewable energy projects.

Our world‑class graduate programme

As a graduate trainee in Financing Solutions, we’ll equip you with the knowledge, skills, and experiences you’ll need to make a significant impact and become a leading debt banker.

Over the course of this two‑year programme, you can expect to:

  • Build meaningful relationships with some of the most sophisticated customers in Europe, from medium sized corporations and blue‑chip companies to leading private equity sponsors
  • Gain debt product experience across loans, bonds, private placements, acquisition financing, and derivatives, and develop a real insight into product development and digital banking
  • Experience different business areas including our market‑leading bond and derivative syndicate and execution franchise in NatWest Markets

At the end of the programme, you’ll be well positioned to apply for associate roles across our Corporate Banking & Structured Finance business including roles in leveraged acquisition finance, infrastructure projects finance, risk solutions, and more.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for our Financing Solutions graduate programme, you’ll need:

  • To have, or be on course to achieving a 2:1 in your degree
  • Integrity and creativity
  • A strong customer focus
  • The ability to build meaningful relationships
  • To be curious, and willing to openly challenge the status quo
  • A genuine desire to shape the best solutions for our customers
  • To be motivated and ambitious

Not all of our graduate programmes offer Skilled Worker sponsorship. We will only offer sponsorship if there is a business requirement to do so and the job meets Skilled Worker Visa eligibility criteria.
