  • Build a positive kitchen culture focused on teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Manage stock, ordering, food costs and waste, supporting strong GP and overall financial performance.
  • Plan effectively for events, forecasting volumes and ensuring appropriate staffing and resources are in place.
  • Work closely with Sodexo management, front-of-house teams and our clients to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality hospitality, banqueting and fine dining events.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and consistency across the culinary operation.
  • Represent Sodexo professionally and contribute positively to the wider site operation.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within contract catering, corporate dining, hotels or another high-volume fresh food environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a passion for developing and mentoring chefs.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety, allergens and kitchen compliance.
  • Experience delivering hospitality, banqueting and high-profile events.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple service areas.
  • Commercial awareness, including stock control, food costs and waste management.

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
