Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Head Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel. Located in, this role is vital in ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable stay. The position offers the opportunity to lead our housekeeping team and uphold the high standards of Borrowdale Gates.

What We’re Looking For Essential

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment.
  • Experience leading, supervising or supporting a team.
  • High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Organised and able to prioritise a busy workload.
  • A positive, hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with other departments.
  • Reliable, flexible and committed to delivering an excellent guest experience.
Desirable
  • Experience as a Head Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Knowledge of COSHH and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Experience managing stock, linen and departmental budgets.
  • Experience training, coaching and developing team members.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems and room status procedures.
