It helps Legal handle growing demand with more consistency, visibility and operational control.</span></p><p></p><p><b>Location:</b> This role can be based in Amsterdam, London, or Berlin. <b>Reporting to:</b> Director of Legal</p><p></p><p><b>These are some of the key components to the position:</b><span> </span></p><ul><li><span>Own and lead the legal function's technology, automation and AI strategy, designing and delivering solutions that improve how legal works across processes, data and service delivery.</span></li><li><span>Lead and develop the team, including legal engineers, setting direction for building, deploying and maintaining legal tools, agents and automations.</span></li><li><span>Design, build and deploy scalable legal solutions — workflows, intake and triage, automation and knowledge management — for recurring legal activity.</span></li><li><span>Own legal data and risk intelligence, building dashboards, reporting and metrics that give the General Counsel and executive clear visibility of legal activity, risk and performance.</span></li><li><span>Evaluate, select and govern legal technology and AI tooling, ensuring solutions are safe, well-governed and deliver genuine value rather than hype</span></li><li><span>Drive adoption and change across legal teams through training, process adoption and embedding new ways of working.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What will you bring to the team?</b></p><ul><li><span>Proven legal solutions expert with real, hands-on experience designing and deploying legal technology, AI and automation solutions in an in-house legal setting is required.</span></li><li><span>Strong understanding of law and legal work, sufficient to translate legal needs into practical, deployable solutions, is required.</span></li><li><span>Demonstrated experience leading a team that includes engineers or technical builders, bridging legal and technical stakeholders, is required.</span></li><li><span>Ability to design and own scalable workflows, intake and triage, dashboards and knowledge solutions that teams actually adopt is required.</span></li><li><span>Sound judgement in selecting and governing legal technology and AI tooling, separating genuine value from hype, is required.</span></li><li><span>Strong analytical, change-management and stakeholder skills across lawyers, operational and technical teams are required.</span></li><li><span>Experience in a complex in-house legal function or similarly governance-sensitive, technology-led environment is preferred.</span></li></ul><p></p><h2>At JET, this is how we play</h2><p></p><p>Our teams forge connections internally and work with some of the best-known brands on the planet, giving us truly international impact in a dynamic environment.</p><p></p><p>Being the best at what we do isn’t just about delivering on our strategy.
