Role: Head of Sales

We are working with an established and growing organisation within the Digital Forensics and Investigation Technology sector that is looking to appoint an experienced Head of Sales.

This is a senior commercial role with responsibility for leading and developing the sales team, growing existing accounts, winning new business and driving overall sales performance across the UK and international markets.

The successful candidate will combine strong sales leadership experience with a genuine new-business mindset. You will be expected to lead from the front, manage your own key accounts and opportunities, and support the wider sales team in consistently achieving and exceeding targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, coach and develop the sales team
  • Set clear objectives, targets and KPIs across the department
  • Conduct regular 1-2-1s, performance reviews and development discussions
  • Take ownership of sales performance and revenue delivery
  • Develop and expand existing customer relationships
  • Identify, target and win new business opportunities
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting through to negotiation and close
  • Personally manage key accounts and sales opportunities, leading by example
  • Develop long-term relationships with corporate, public sector and law enforcement customers
  • Sell across a broad portfolio of digital forensic products and services
  • Accurately manage pipeline and revenue forecasting
  • Ensure sales activity and customer information is accurately maintained within the CRM
  • Work closely with operational and technical teams to deliver the right solutions for customers
  • Attend relevant networking events, exhibitions and industry conferences
  • Support the Director of Digital Forensics and wider senior management team with commercial strategy and growth
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience managing and developing successful sales teams
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Demonstrable new business development experience
  • A genuine hunter mentality with the ability to open doors and close deals
  • Experience setting targets, measuring performance and managing underperformance
  • Strong coaching, mentoring and people-management skills
  • Commercially driven with excellent planning and organisational ability
  • Confident dealing with senior and C-level stakeholders
  • Strong consultative and solution-led sales approach
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong CRM discipline and forecasting capability

Experience within Digital Forensics, Investigation Technology or a closely related technology market would be highly advantageous. An existing network across UK or international corporate, policing or law enforcement organisations would also be beneficial.


Additional Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Minimum five years' UK residency
  • Ability to successfully complete the required security vetting and clearance process
