Shift patterns:

  • 6:00am - 2:00pm

  • 2:00pm - 10:00pm

About the Role

C4SS is recruiting Hygiene Operatives to work at Heathrow Airport, supporting one of the UK's leading facilities management companies.

This is a great opportunity to work within one of the world's busiest airports, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the airport.

You will work as part of a professional team in a busy, customer-facing environment, ensuring designated areas remain clean, safe and welcoming for passengers and airport staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining designated areas throughout Heathrow Airport

  • Cleaning floors, surfaces, glass and public areas

  • Cleaning and maintaining washrooms and toilet facilities

  • Vacuuming, mopping and general floor cleaning

  • Emptying waste bins and maintaining waste areas

  • Responding to spills and additional cleaning requirements

  • Using cleaning equipment, machinery and chemicals safely

  • Following cleaning schedules and completing duties to the required standard

  • Following all Health & Safety and airport procedures

  • Reporting maintenance, safety or cleanliness issues

  • Working effectively as part of the wider airport team

Job Requirements

  • Flexible and reliable approach to work

  • Available to work 6:00am-2:00pm and/or 2:00pm-10:00pm shifts

  • Able to provide 5 years of verifiable employment and/or education references

  • Physically fit and comfortable with prolonged standing and walking

  • Able to carry out cleaning duties for extended periods

  • Punctual, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team

  • Able to follow instructions, safety procedures and high hygiene standards

  • Professional and comfortable working within a busy airport environment

  • Previous cleaning or hygiene experience is desirable but not essential
