[Hiring] Profit Protection Business Partner @| Halfords Careers
Role Description
Please note this is a remote / field based role that will require nationwide travel.
As a Divisional Profit Protection Business Partner, you'll take on a highly visible, field-based role working directly with Retail Operations leadership across your division to reduce stock loss, cash loss, and operational risk. In this role you'll be out in stores, conducting risk-based audits, investigating incidents, and building the kind of relationships with divisional, area, and store managers that make Profit Protection a genuinely valued commercial partner rather than a compliance exercise.
Day to day, you'll be:
- Analysing stock loss, availability, and inventory accuracy data to identify trends and emerging risks.
- Developing loss reduction plans with operational teams and holding them accountable for delivery.
- Using exception reporting and intelligence sources to identify potential fraud and theft.
- Supporting investigations into significant incidents.
- Delivering training and coaching that builds genuine Profit Protection capability across the teams you work with.
This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable presenting divisional insights to senior stakeholders and sitting down with a store manager to work through an audit. You'll need to be confident working independently across a wide geography, willing to travel extensively within your division including occasional overnight stays, and sharp enough to turn complex data into clear, practical actions. If you have a strong retail loss prevention background, a commercial mindset, and the influencing skills to challenge constructively at all levels, this is a role where the impact of your work will be tangible and visible.
