This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a busy environment, providing high-quality administrative support and delivering excellent customer service.</p> <p>As a Business Support Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring administrative processes run efficiently and effectively. You'll work closely with colleagues, managers, and external stakeholders to help deliver excellent outcomes for the residents of Leicestershire.</p> <p><b>About the Role</b></p> <p>As a Business Support Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring administrative processes run efficiently and effectively. </p> <p>You will be the first point of contact for our learners and visitors to our venue.  The post covers a variety of admin tasks to also include the delivery of exams, inputting data accurately into our system to enrol learners onto our courses, processing payments, and to provide an excellent customer service to learners and curriculum teams.</p> <p>You'll work closely with colleagues, managers, and external stakeholders to help deliver excellent outcomes for the residents of Leicestershire.</p> <p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p> <ul> <li>Provide comprehensive administrative support to teams and managers.</li> <li>Manage correspondence, emails, and telephone enquiries professionally and efficiently.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems.</li> <li>Cash handling </li> <li>Process documentation, invoices, and data accurately and within agreed timescales.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with council policies, procedures, and data protection requirements.</li> <li>Build positive working relationships with colleagues, partners, and members of the public.</li> </ul> <p><b>Apprenticeship Opportunity</b></p> <p>For the right candidate, this post may be offered as an apprenticeship, providing the opportunity to achieve the Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship while working in a permanent paid role with Leicestershire County Council. You will receive structured workplace training, supervision and protected off-the-job learning through the Adult Learning Service.</p> <p>Applicants for the apprenticeship route will be assessed on their communication, customer service, digital, organisational and teamwork skills, together with their willingness to learn, rather than extensive administrative experience.</p> <p>If you would like to be considered for the apprenticeship route, please indicate this in your application.
