37 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: £12.86ph
Length of Assignment:
Until 31 March 2027 with possible extension
Level of Clearance Required:

If you're someone who enjoys bringing order, reassurance and momentum to a busy service, this is a role where your attention to detail and customer focus genuinely matter.
What you'll be doing:
* Confirming role details and handling administrative tasks to prepare for, facilitate and complete a range of hearings
* Providing excellent customer service through face-to-face support, telephone (incoming and outbound) and responding to correspondence in different formats
* Using service scripts and knowledge articles to direct users to the right support, including when needs are complex
* Following complaints policies and procedures, supporting users through the process and responding promptly to prevent escalation (including updating OPTIC as required)
* Supporting operational delivery using standard operating procedures to meet performance targets and maintain service standards
* Handling case files with accurate data entry and secure information management, in line with retention and data loss protocols
* Supporting listing and scheduling so judicial time is used efficiently, including responsiveness to urgent matters
* Providing dedicated judicial business support (e.g., diary coordination and locally required admin tasks)
* Supporting enforcement procedures, including financial assessments and fine collection, plus basic statistical and financial reports
* Contributing to health and safety operations (PEEPS, facility checks, issue logging and key/safety governance under team leader guidance)
* Completing core admin tasks such as photocopying/filing, meeting room booking, agenda/handout preparation and post opening/dispatch
* Clerking civil and family courts, tribunals and hearings-ensuring papers/materials are up to date, and assisting with rota management
What you'll bring:
* GCSE passes (or equivalent) at A*-C (5 subjects), or NVQ Business Administration level II, or administrative experience
* Operationally minded approach with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
* Confident computer skills for day-to-day work, including creating and updating records and data input
* Clear, professional communication-able to provide helpful, prompt, polite, "right first time" support to the public and internal stakeholders
* A careful, compliant mindset for checking documents/records/accounts and working to agreed criteria, regulations and procedures
* Willingness to work flexibly and step into ad hoc duties as reasonably requested by line management
