<p>HR Consultant x Job Evaluation and Organisation Design</p><p><strong>Local Authority | Predominantly Remote | Bristol Occasional Travel</strong></p><p>Are you an experienced HR Consultant with a strong background in and Job Evaluation Organisational Design within a local authority environment?</p><p>We're supporting a major public sector organisation seeking an HR Consultant to lead on complex employee relations casework while driving EDI initiatives that create more inclusive workplaces.</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide expert HR advice on complex employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, restructures, TUPE and investigations.</li><li>Lead and influence EDI strategies, programmes and policies across the organisation.</li><li>Coach and support managers to build inclusive leadership capability.</li><li>Analyse workforce data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Work closely with senior stakeholders and trade unions to drive positive organisational change.</li><li>Ensure HR policies and practices align with equality legislation and best practice.</li></ul><p><strong>What we're looking for:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Essential is significant HR experience gained within a Local Authority.</strong></li><li>Proven experience handling complex ER casework.</li><li><strong>Essential is experience with National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book Local Pay (GLP)</strong></li><li>CIPD Chartered Member (or equivalent experience).</li><li>Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.</li><li>Experience building inclusive cultures and embedding EDI into HR practice.</li></ul><p><strong>Predominantly remote role with travel to Bristol approximately once per week and occasional attendance at wider team meetings throughout the year.</strong></p>
