Because that’s what drives you to be better, be more and ultimately, be more fulfilled.</p><p><br></p><p>Job Title - Infrastructure Automation Engineer</p><p>Location - Havant (Mostly remote)</p><p>Type - Fixed term contract 3 months contract also we are open for day rate contract as well Inside IR35</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain standardized Golden Images for Windows and Linux servers.</li><li>Automate image creation using Packer.</li><li>Experience with Vmware is Mandatory.</li><li>Configure and harden operating systems using Ansible.</li><li>Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.</li><li>Maintain version-controlled infrastructure and automation code using GitHub.</li><li>Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for image creation, validation, testing, and deployment.</li><li>Apply security baselines, operating system patches, and compliance standards to Golden Images.</li><li>Automate image lifecycle management including build, testing, publishing, versioning, and retirement.</li><li>Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure standardized server deployments.</li><li>Troubleshoot automation failures and optimize provisioning processes.</li><li>Maintain documentation for image standards, build procedures, and operational runbooks.</li><li>Ensure Golden Images meet organizational security, compliance, and performance requirements.</li><li>Continuously improve automation processes and reduce manual operational effort.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><p><strong>Infrastructure Automation</strong></p><ul><li>Strong experience with Ansible</li><li>Strong experience with Packer</li><li>Strong experience with Terraform</li><li>Infrastructure as Code (IaC)</li><li>YAML and JSON</li></ul><p><strong>Operating Systems</strong></p><ul><li>Windows Server administration</li><li>Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, Rocky Linux, or similar)</li><li>Operating system hardening</li><li>Patch management</li><li>Server configuration management</li></ul><p><strong>Version Control & CI/CD</strong></p><ul><li>GitHub</li><li>GitHub Actions</li><li>Git workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews)</li><li>CI/CD pipeline development</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>A supportive, diverse, and global team with a brilliant culture.</li><li>Competitive compensation and benefits that includes up to 20 days’ vacation per year, various insurances like Term life and Business Travel insurance.
