Instrument Tutor

Quorn Music Tuition is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable freelance music tutor to join our growing team.

We're looking for someone available to teach on Fridays, working with students in a friendly and supportive environment.

What we're looking for

We're particularly interested in tutors who can teach one or more of:

  • Guitar
  • Bass
  • Drums
  • Vocals
  • Keyboard/Piano

Experience teaching children and young people is preferred, and relevant qualifications or industry experience would be an advantage.

The role

  • Day: Friday
  • Type: Freelance / self-employed
  • Students: Primarily children and young people
  • Lesson format: 1-to-1 and potentially small groups
  • Location: Quorn Music Tuition, One Ash
  • Pay: £20-£25/hour - to be discussed
  • Start: To be agreed

You don't necessarily need to be available all day — we're happy to discuss your availability and build assignments around suitable times.

We're looking for someone who is

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Passionate about music and teaching
  • Comfortable working with children and young people
  • Able to provide engaging lessons across different abilities
  • Professional and organised
  • Ideally DBS checked or willing to obtain an appropriate DBS check
