What you\'ll do
As the Integrated Creative Director at Sainsbury\'s, you will be responsible for directing a team to achieve creative excellence while deeply understanding channel best practises, brand objectives, and creative goals to deliver top-quality work across various channels and formats. Your role will involve overseeing both creative ideation and design functions, guiding great ideas in development, collaborating with production teams on set, and refining design assets to ensure a strong, unified creative output across brands. You will champion the creative vision, foster a culture of curiosity and bravery, and drive collaboration among internal teams and external agencies to generate fresh and unconventional solutions to creative challenges, emphasising the importance of curiosity alongside creativity in achieving innovative and impactful outcomes.
Who you are
As an Integrated Creative Director for Sainsbury\'s Zest, you are a visionary leader with a passion for guiding creative teams to achieve excellence in crafting captivating ideas that align with brand identity and messaging. Your ability to champion new ways to bring ideas to life across various media formats, uphold consistent tone of voice and art direction, and drive performance analysis and optimisation strategies demonstrates your commitment to achieving impactful results while fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning. Your strong communication skills and dedication to mentoring and supporting team members contribute to creating a high-performing and inclusive environment where creativity thrives and innovative solutions are born.
Essential Criteria
Extensive experience as a Creative Director, ACD, Creative Lead or equivalent, leading and mentoring other creatives.
A true copywriter / art director hybrid with a keen eye for design.
A polished portfolio that showcases an ability to work at both a conceptual and executional level across all platforms and channels fashion/food.
An elevated art direction and design aesthetic with a clear understanding of the world of food and fashion.
A deep and true passion for craft and executional detail across both design and copywriting.
Knowledge / Expertise in the use of AI tools.
