Our mission is to break down the barriers faced by those from historically under-represented groups to accessing and building careers.  </p><p> </p><p><strong>About Discover Creative Careers</strong></p><p>Creative Access is a delivery partner of <strong>Discover Creative Careers (DCC)</strong>, a major three-year UK-wide programme funded by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and delivered by a consortium comprising Futures for All, Creative Access and Creative UK (the creative careers collective).</p><p>DCC aims to inspire and support young people aged 11–24 to discover the breadth of careers available across the creative industries and take meaningful next steps towards them, with a particular focus on reaching young people from under-represented backgrounds and under-served parts of the UK.</p><p>Creative Access leads the programme's <strong>digital service</strong>, alongside delivery of a significant programme of employability, access and career-development activity.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Role objectives:</strong> </p><ul><li>Work closely with the Director of Talent and Outreach and employer partners to secure new Discover Creative Careers (DCC) opportunities across the creative industries, converting relationships into live traineeships and entry level roles</li><li>Own end to end recruitment for DCC roles, from employer brief through to offer, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both employer partners and candidates</li><li>Bring agency-honed new business skills to an in-house, mission-led setting, identifying and approaching new employer partners as well as managing existing relationships</li><li>Support delivery of DCC targets within the wider Discover Creative Careers consortium programme, working alongside the outreach team to ensure a strong and diverse candidate pipeline</li><li>Represent Creative Access professionally and consistently with employer partners, reflecting the organisation's values as a DEI-focused social enterprise</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong> </p><ul><li>Build and manage relationships with employer partners across the creative industries to secure new DCC opportunities, including traineeships, placements and entry level roles</li><li>Manage end to end recruitment for DCC vacancies: taking briefs, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews and managing the offer process</li><li>Proactively approach new employer partners to grow the pool of available DCC opportunities, using a new business approach drawn from agency experience</li><li>Work closely with the outreach and comms teams to ensure DCC roles are attracting candidates from underrepresented backgrounds, in line with Creative Access's mission</li><li>Track and report on opportunities secured, roles filled and time to hire, feeding progress into wider programme reporting</li><li>Manage candidate and employer communications professionally throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience for all involved</li><li>Work collaboratively with the wider Access team to align DCC recruitment activity with broader Creative Access programmes and priorities and with the DCC consortium partners to align activity with wider DCC programming</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>What we are looking for</strong></p><ul><li>Previous recruitment experience, ideally including time within a recruitment agency</li><li>Direct experience recruiting within the creative industries, such as publishing, media, advertising or screen sector</li><li>Confidence building and managing employer relationships, with a genuine new business mindset</li><li>A strong track record of end to end recruitment delivery, from brief to placement</li><li>Comfortable working autonomously and managing a busy desk in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Genuine interest in and alignment with inclusive recruitment, social mobility and widening access to the creative industries</li><li>Available for a six month contract, with no commission structure attached to this role, reflecting Creative Access's status as a non-profit social enterprise</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>To apply</strong></p><ul><li>Log in to your Creative Access account or register today to apply for this opportunity</li><li>Upload your CV and cover letter as one document (applications without a tailored cover letter will not be accepted)</li><li>Once submitted, you can no longer amend your application, so proof-read carefully</li><li>Please email any queries about this role to Stef Hall, Director of Talent and Outreach at Creative Access via <a href="mailto:stephanie@creativeaccess.org.uk" target="_blank"><strong>stephanie@creativeaccess.org.uk</strong></a><strong> </strong></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>We welcome and encourage applications from candidates who are under-represented in the creative industries.
