Interior Designer (CAD)

Location: Braintree, Essex

Salary: £32,000 per annum + quarterly team performance bonus

Hours: 40 hours per week, 9:00am–5:00pm, five days per week including Saturdays on a rota

About the Role

Bowman Bathrooms is looking for a talented Interior Designer with strong CAD experience to join our growing design team.

This is not a sales role.

Our Director handles the client consultations, creative direction and sales process. Your role is to take that vision and transform it into exceptional, technically accurate bathroom & kitchen designs and presentations that inspire clients and can be delivered with confidence.

You'll be working on luxury residential projects with generous budgets, designing beautiful spaces using some of the world's leading bathroom brands. We're looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about design, obsessed with detail, and takes pride in producing work of the highest standard.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Producing high-quality CAD drawings, layouts and technical plans.
  • Creating stunning 3D visuals and client presentations.
  • Developing interior schemes, finishes, colours and material palettes.
  • Producing accurate elevations, lighting layouts and tile layouts.
  • Ensuring every design is technically accurate and ready for installation.
  • Refining and amending designs following client feedback.
  • Working closely with our Director to bring creative concepts to life.
  • Managing multiple projects while meeting design deadlines.
  • Supporting the showroom team where required.
What We're Looking For Essential:
  • Interior Design qualification or relevant industry experience.
  • Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Virtual Worlds, SketchUp, Revit or similar).
  • Excellent eye for layout, proportion, colour and materials.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Passion for creating outstanding interior spaces.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently to deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
  • Experience within kitchens, bathrooms or residential interiors.
  • Knowledge of luxury bathroom products.
  • Experience producing photorealistic renders.
  • Knowledge of technical construction drawings.
