The team focus on several different methodologies including market share analysis, primary research, social research and partner analytics, combined to give us a rich understanding of key topics. Our goal is to make Sony Music the most audience-centric, data-informed music company.<br /> <br /> Being a central team, this is a brilliant opportunity to work across a huge breadth of different strategic and artist projects whilst learning about and utilising different research and analytical methodologies to help teams across the business. You will be an integral part of the team helping coordinate and support the Strategy & Insights team, helping on daily reporting and with day-to-day requests from our marketing teams. If you'd like to take additional time to complete your application, please ensure you gather your responses externally before submitting in one go.<br /> <br /> If you have any reasonable adjustment requests, please reach out to recruitment.support@sonymusic.com.<br /> <br /> Role Overview:<br /> <br /> Ways of Working<br /> <br /> • Office attendance: Mandatory office attendance on Tuesday, plus 2 other days (total 3 days per week in the office)<br /> • Flexibility: There is be flexibility which can be discussed with the line manager on the other 2 days you are in the office depending on workload and team projects<br /> • Offsite working: There are no offsite working opportunities in this role<br /> <br /> What you'll do:<br /> <br /> • Support the commercial strategy team on daily / weekly reporting needs<br /> • Work alongside the S&I team responding to requests on artist audiences and strategic projects<br /> • Create presentations and trend reports to help convey findings and recommendations to the business<br /> • Support with the management and analysis of tasks on our youth culture audience panel<br /> • Manage the team's reports and outputs, uploading them to our online portal<br /> • Support the team with a wide variety of ad hoc projects and label workshops<br /> • Opportunity to learn SQL & Snowflake as well as the various primary research approaches<br /> <br /> Who you are:<br /> <br /> Essential<br /> <br /> • Prior experience of manipulating basic data in Excel & PowerPoint is essential as this is a major area of support required<br /> • You may have had experience of using statistical packages such as SPSS, SAS, eViews or languages like SQL<br /> • Good understanding of the music streaming landscape, music economics<br /> • A love of music is essential!
