The Role

We are seeking an experienced Investor Services Manager to lead investor support operations, relationship management, reporting processes, and service delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee investor communications, account administration, reporting requirements, service improvement programmes, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring a high standard of investor satisfaction, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement investor services strategies, service standards, and operational frameworks aligned with organizational objectives and investor expectations.
  • Lead investor onboarding, account administration, subscription and redemption processes, documentation management, and ongoing investor support activities.
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations, Fund Management, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Wealth Management, Technology, and Executive Leadership to deliver seamless investor experiences.
  • Manage relationships with institutional investors, private investors, family offices, asset managers, financial advisors, and strategic investment partners.
  • Coordinate investor communications including statements, performance updates, newsletters, reports, notices, presentations, and regulatory disclosures.
  • Oversee investor data management, account records, transaction processing, reporting accuracy, and service quality controls.
  • Support fund operations including capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, portfolio reporting, and investment lifecycle administration.
  • Develop investor service procedures, governance frameworks, response standards, escalation processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor investor feedback, service trends, operational issues, and opportunities to enhance investor engagement and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers including fund administrators, custodians, transfer agents, auditors, and technology vendors.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including investor satisfaction, response times, onboarding efficiency, reporting accuracy, service resolution rates, retention metrics, operational efficiency, and compliance performance.
  • Conduct investor service reviews, operational audits, process assessments, benchmarking studies, risk evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, know-your-customer (KYC) procedures, data protection regulations, investment reporting standards, and organizational governance policies.
  • Manage investor services budgets, technology platforms, outsourced service providers, consultants, and strategic investor experience initiatives.
  • Drive digital transformation through artificial intelligence (AI)-powered investor analytics, automated reporting, intelligent client communication, workflow automation, digital onboarding, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Utilize Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg platforms, Morningstar tools, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Tableau, investor relationship management (IRM) systems, fund administration platforms, and reporting solutions to optimize investor services.
  • Prepare executive dashboards, investor activity reports, service performance analyses, investor insights, operational reviews, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop investor services specialists, client relationship professionals, operations analysts, and cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of trust, transparency, responsiveness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Investment Management, Banking, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), Investment Management, Financial Services, or a related discipline is highly advantageous.
  • Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Investor Relations certifications, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in investor services, investor relations, fund administration, wealth management, asset management operations, financial services, or related roles.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing investor services teams, client relationship programmes, fund operations, or institutional investor support initiatives preferred.
  • Strong understanding of investment operations, investor communications, fund structures, onboarding processes, KYC/AML requirements, financial reporting, client servicing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Bloomberg platforms, Morningstar tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, investor relationship management systems, fund administration platforms, and financial reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered investor analytics, digital onboarding platforms, automated reporting, client intelligence solutions, workflow automation, and advanced financial technology platforms is highly advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, communication, relationship management, analytical thinking, project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple investor service initiatives while balancing investor expectations, regulatory requirements, operational accuracy, confidentiality obligations, budgets, timelines, and organizational priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with distributed investment teams, investors, fund managers, service providers, regulators, executives, and global stakeholders, with occasional travel for investor meetings, conferences, due diligence sessions, and strategic planning activities as required.
