A refined opportunity for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join an elegant, high-performing kitchen in the heart of Central London.

Houston & Hawkes are seeking a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our premium fine dining team at one of our most prestigious client locations. This role is perfect for a chef who has a genuine appreciation for beautifully executed food, exceptional hospitality and attention to detail.

Working alongside an experienced Head Chef, you'll support the delivery of an outstanding fine dining and hospitality offer, helping to create memorable experiences through seasonal menus, flawless presentation and impeccable service. Pastry experience is essential, as you'll also support the preparation and presentation of elegant desserts and pastry items.

THE ROLE

  • Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Prepare and present exceptional fine dining dishes to the highest standard
  • Assist with premium hospitality and private dining events
  • Support the pastry section and produce high-quality desserts and pastry items
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene
  • Assist with ordering, stock control and food preparation
  • Coach and support junior members of the brigade
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or an experienced Chef de Partie ready for the next step
  • A genuine passion for fine dining and hospitality
  • Pastry experience is essential
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
