We're passionate about cooking up exceptional service to our corporate colleagues and clients, and we know that a clean and efficient kitchen is they key in making that possible. An energetic and proactive team player, you'll be the backbone of our catering services!

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play an important role in supporting the chefs and wider kitchen team, helping to maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

What you'll do:

  • Washing and sanitising dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment
  • Keeping kitchen areas, floors, work surfaces and storage areas clean and organised
  • Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required
  • Managing rubbish and food waste correctly
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment
  • Assisting with deliveries, including moving and storing supplies
  • Keeping fridges, freezers and dry-storage areas clean and organised
  • Replenishing cleaning materials and kitchen supplies
  • Following food hygiene, health and safety and COSHH procedures
  • Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
  • Reporting any equipment, maintenance or health and safety issues to the manager
  • Carrying out other reasonable duties as required by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager

What you'll bring:

  • Previous kitchen, catering, cleaning or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently when required
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider kitchen team
