KPMG 2027 Audit Graduate Programme - Manchester

We're KPMG in the UK, part of a global organisation of independent firms that offers Audit, Tax, Consulting and Technology services. More than 16,000 colleagues working together to make the difference for businesses, people and communities

What is Audit at KPMG?

Audit is the largest of our UK practices and gives us the opportunity to work with some of the world’s biggest organisations. We provide insight, challenge and expertise, helping ensure published accounts give a true and fair picture of an organisation’s financial position.

It’s work that makes a meaningful difference to businesses, investors and the wider community. If you enjoy understanding how organisations operate and solving problems, Audit could be a great fit for you.

Audit Graduate Programme

From day one, you’ll work on varied and complex engagements, learning about a wide range of business activities. You’ll see the audit process from different perspectives and build technical, commercial and professional skills that will stay with you throughout your career.

You’ll play a direct role in critically assessing information provided by organisations, supported by senior leaders, peers and the wider Audit community. You’ll bring integrity, professional scepticism, objectivity, independence and a strong ethical foundation to your work.

We’ll give you the training, support and resources you need to thrive, alongside dedicated study leave to help you achieve your qualifications. You’ll work on challenging projects with supportive colleagues who will help you build the skills, confidence and experience needed to grow your career.

Training and Benefits

On this programme, you’ll study towards the ACA professional qualification or CA equivalent in Scotland. These qualifications are fully funded by KPMG and are supported by an extensive programme of internal training spanning both personal and professional development.

We offer a competitive salary and a host of great benefits too, including 25 days’ holiday, study leave and a day off on your birthday. What’s more, you can take up to six days of time off to take part in volunteering initiatives.

Our firm’s hybrid working model balances the flexibility of working from home with the importance of collaborating and learning in our offices or at the sites of the organisations we audit. We trust our people to be where they need to be, with our colleagues working together in person as often as needed. Some travel is likely for audit work, and because its seasonal, you should expect there to be busy times of the year.

Seeing the whole picture

As part of the Audit team, you will be building friendships and shared experiences, innovating, and learning together. KPMG is a place where you can be yourself and give your best - whoever you are and whatever your background.  We look at more than just your academic results and will also consider your strengths, values and motivations. If you’re collaborative and good with people, that can be just as important as your ability to pick up key technical skills. See the specific programme page on our Careers Portal for entry requirements and our ‘Applying to KPMG’ section for detailed application guidance.
