We provide high-quality imagery, content, and production services for our partners, while also creating an engaging in-store experience for our customers.</p> <p>**THE ROLE**<br /> As a Translator (Product Information) for LATAM Spanish, you will help FARFETCH’s product catalogue and related content connect with local audiences. Reporting to the LangOps & Development team, your main task is localising a broad range of content—especially **Product Information**—including material details, compositions, and size & fit information.</p> <p>**WHAT YOU’LL DO**<br /> – **Translate and localise product information**, including clear and accurate descriptions of materials, fabric compositions, and size & fit details for local audiences.<br /> – **Localise and adapt** FARFETCH’s product catalogue and related content by tailoring language to reflect cultural nuances and audience preferences.<br /> – **Deliver projects on time** while meeting the highest quality standards.<br /> – **Maintain translation memories and terminology databases** to ensure consistency across all translated materials and maximise reuse of existing translations.<br /> – **Ensure consistency** in language and tone of voice across product descriptions.<br /> – **Use and contribute to** the development of advanced localisation tools and technology to streamline workflows and improve accuracy.</p> <p>**WHO YOU ARE**<br /> – **Language Expert:** Native-level LATAM Spanish with strong written and spoken communication skills.<br /> – **Luxury E-commerce Experience:** Proven ability to write, translate, and localise content for luxury or high-end e-commerce brands.<br /> – **Technical Product Translation Experience:** Experience translating technical product information (e.g., fabric compositions, material characteristics, and size & fit details) is highly preferred.<br /> – **Cultural Sensitivity:** Ability to create customer-focused, engaging content that reflects local tastes and preferences.<br /> – **Process-Oriented:** Experience managing **translation workflows**, using **translation memories**, and maintaining **terminology databases** to ensure quality and consistency.<br /> – **Technical Proficiency:** Familiarity with localisation and translation tools (e.g., TMS, machine translation, etc.).
