We deliver high-quality imagery, content, and production support for our partners, while also shaping an engaging in-store experience for our customers.</p> <p>**THE ROLE**<br /> As a translator (product information) for LATAM Spanish, you help connect the FARFETCH product catalogue and related content with local audiences. You report to the LangOps & Development team. Your main responsibility is to localize a broad range of content—especially **product information**—including material details, compositions, and size and fit information.</p> <p>**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**<br /> – **Translate and localize product facts**, including clear and precise descriptions of materials, fabric compositions, and size and fit details for local audiences.<br /> – **Localize and adapt the FARFETCH product catalogue and related content** by adjusting language to reflect cultural specifics and the preferences of the target audience.<br /> – Deliver projects **on time** while meeting the highest quality standards.<br /> – Maintain **translation memories** and terminology databases to ensure consistency across all translated materials and maximize reuse of existing translations.<br /> – Ensure consistency in language and tone across all product descriptions.<br /> – Contribute to the development and use of advanced localization tools and technologies to optimize workflows and improve accuracy.</p> <p>**YOUR PROFILE**<br /> – **Language skills:** LATAM Spanish at native level, with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken form.<br /> – **Luxury e-commerce experience:** Proven ability to write, translate, and localize content for luxury or premium e-commerce brands.<br /> – **Experience with technical product translation:** Experience translating technical product information (e.g., fabric compositions, material properties, and size and fit details) is especially desirable.<br /> – **Cultural sensitivity:** Ability to create customer-focused, engaging content that reflects local preferences and tastes.<br /> – **Process-oriented approach:** Experience managing **translation workflows**, using **translation memories**, and maintaining terminology databases to ensure quality and consistency.<br /> – **Technical proficiency:** Familiarity with localization and translation tools (e.g., TMS, machine translation, etc.).
