Are you passionate about leveraging AI/ML to transform digital advertising? As the lead Product Manager for Ad Creative Intelligence, you’ll join a high-impact team dedicated to optimizing ads creative content selection, customization, and advertiser guidance. The Ads Creative Intelligence team leverages advanced prediction models and generative AI technology to select & create the creative assets to maximize ad performance. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how advertisers connect with Yelp users, impacting both user engagement and ads revenue growth.

This role sits at the intersection of machine learning and ad creatives. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, design, and analytics partners to build a scalable platform that powers creative selection, automates creative creation and provides guidance to advertisers on creative best practices. Your products will directly influence key business metrics—improving click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates (CCR), and optimizing the performance of Yelp’s advertising platform.

What You\\\'ll Do

  • Foster and build a fun, diverse, and inclusive culture that reflects Yelp’s values.
  • Product Roadmap Ownership: Lead the vision, strategy, and execution for the ACI team, ensuring alignment with business goals and advertiser needs.
  • ML-Driven Creative Optimization: Define and prioritize features that leverage machine learning and generative AI to optimize ad creative selection and asset creation.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive collaboration with engineering, design, data science, and partner teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Performance Measurement & Analysis: Develop and track KPIs (CTR, CCR, revenue), using insights to inform product decisions and iterate rapidly.
  • Ad Placement & Format Expansion: Launch and scale creative selection for new ad placements and innovative formats (LLM-generated theme ads).
  • Advertiser Guidance Tools: Build AI-powered guidance for advertisers to improve creative quality and mitigate creative fatigue.

What It Takes To Succeed

  • Several years of technical product management or marketing experience, preferably focused on ads formats, creative optimization, ads creation and monetization platforms within the online advertising (AdTech) industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead ML-driven or ad-tech product initiatives from concept to launch, balancing technical depth with business impact.
  • Deep understanding of digital advertising, creative optimization, and the unique challenges of ad creative performance in a search setting.
  • Strong analytical skills; being comfortable with experimentation, A/B testing, and interpreting complex data to drive product direction.
  • Skilled at building trust and alignment across engineering, design, analytics, and business partners; being effective at influencing without authority.
  • Proactively identifying risks, and removing roadblocks to deliver measurable results.
  • Embracing feedback, continuous learning, and innovation; thriving in a collaborative, transparent, and fast-paced environment.
