Legal Aid Billing Coordinator  Location: Nottingham Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE Working Pattern: Office-based during probation, then hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days home) About the Role An established and highly regarded specialist law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Aid Billing Coordinator to join its growing team in Nottingham. Key Responsibilities Prepare, finalise and submit Legal Aid bills. Prepare, finalise and submit Legal Help bills. Apply for Payments on Account (POA). Manage and progress VHCC matters. Work within the CCMS system and maintain accurate records. Liaise with relevant parties regarding Counsel fees, Court fees, Process Server fees and other disbursements. Proactively obtain final court orders and Legal Aid certificates. Ensure billing targets and KPIs are achieved. Support audit requirements and maintain compliance with Legal Aid regulations. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Previous experience in Legal Aid costing and billing. Strong knowledge of Family Legal Aid processes and procedures. Experience working with Legal Aid audits and KPI requirements. Working knowledge of the CCMS system. Advanced IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP's and Pivots  What's on Offer?
