A busy family residing in London is seeking an experienced Live-in Nanny to provide childcare support to their newborn baby and toddler on a permanent basis. The family will be based in London until August, before moving to their second home in Suffolk. There will be travel between the two homes, so the ideal candidate will be London, based on staying onsite in Suffolk during the week, but this is to be discussed. The family also employs a cleaner, twice per week and will hire a maternity nurse nanny for their second child from birth until October. They also have a gentle dog, so being an animal lover is a plus. A driver is essential, with a car provided for nursery, duties and travel will be required; this will be, dependent on the parent's work, but someone with, flexibility to travel is essential. The family are searching for a professional, loving, and trustworthy nanny, with experience of looking, after children of a similar age. A valid first aid qualification is an absolute requirement.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Accommodation: Separate accommodation in Suffolk shared with the maternity nurse until October and a spare room in London

Duties include:

  • preparing milk
  • organising the children's daily schedule
  • changing nappies
  • cleaning and sterilising bottles
  • setting up nap routine
  • washing and dressing the children
  • playing with the children
  • taking track of the children's development and updating the parents
  • making sure the children are always safe and happy
  • taking to doctor's appointments and helping the children with bedtime routine
  • organising the children's clothes
  • doing laundry and ironing the children's clothes
  • making sure the children's room is always clean
  • doing occasional grocery shopping for the children's supplies

The family is looking for a live-in nanny who can start by July 2023.
