We are looking for a friendly, practical and reliable couple to live and work on our family-run glamping site in Herefordshire. The site has four cosy cabins set on our farm, with the River Wye running through the land. It\'s a quiet, rural setting with a strong focus on quality, presentation and guest experience.
This role suits a couple where one person enjoys leading on housekeeping and presentation, and the other is happy supporting changeovers, handling practical tasks and providing on‐call guest support.

Beautiful rural location on a working farm with direct access to the River Wye
Clear work structure with predictable days off
Optional extra paid hours available for those who want them
Days and work pattern 5 working days per week
2 set days off: Tuesday and Saturday
Changeovers are planned to ensure busy days (typically Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun) have two-person cover
The couple are jointly on-call during working days, responding to guest needs and simple troubleshooting as they arise
How the couple role is structured Person 1 – Housekeeping Lead (paid role) Guaranteed 20 hours per week, typically 10:00–14:00
Paid at £13/hour equivalent
Leads cabin cleaning standards, laundry flow, resets and presentation
On quieter days, hours may include restocking, deep cleaning or general site prep
Person 2 – Support, Maintenance & Extra Cleaning Completes ~5 hours/week of routine maintenance and outdoor tasks (logs, gas bottles, small repairs)
These duties are in exchange for the onsite accommodation
Also paid for extra cleaning support on heavier changeover days
Typically needed around 4 days per week, averaging 10 paid cleaning hours per week, depending on check-outs
Paid at the agreed hourly rate
Optional extra paid hours Additional paid hours are available for those who want to top up their income:
Tipi glamping site work during peak season (April–September)
Winter maintenance and building projects
Covering changeovers on the other partner\'s days off, by agreement
Main responsibilities Cleaning and changeovers Cleaning and resetting cabins to a very high standard
Working within set changeover windows
Previous professional housekeeping experience is ideal (training provided)
Guest support (on-call) Responding to guest queries and small issues during working days
Friendly, calm and clear communication
Simple troubleshooting and problem-solving
Maintenance and outdoor work Stacking logs and keeping stores tidy
Changing gas bottles, bulbs and other practical jobs
Strimming and outdoor site maintenance
Keeping outside areas neat, safe and welcoming
DIY and small repair tasks (useful but not essential)
Physical aspects of the role This is a hands-on role and includes:
Carrying laundry, logs and supplies
Bending, lifting and moving across the site
Working outdoors in all seasons
What we\'re looking for High cleaning standards and attention to detail
Hospitality or cleaning experience (ideal)
Comfortable with basic maintenance and practical tasks
Calm, friendly and professional with guests
Good time management, especially on changeover days
Happy living onsite in a quiet rural setting
Full UK driving licence required
