Live-Out Care Assistant – Sponsorship for Local & Switching Candidates

Job Summary GracePath Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Live-Out Care Assistants to join our growing team of healthcare professionals. This role is ideal for candidates currently residing in the UK and seeking a sponsorship opportunity through a Tier 2 Skilled Worker Visa, especially for those eligible for switching from a student, dependent, or graduate visa. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care services to elderly and vulnerable individuals in their own homes, ensuring they live with dignity, safety, and comfort.
Key Responsibilities Provide personal care including washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care.
Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of hoists or other aids.
Support with medication administration and meal preparation.
Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering trust and comfort.
Monitor and report changes in clients health or behaviour to the care manager.
Maintain accurate and timely records of daily care activities and observations.
Promote independence while respecting client preferences and privacy.
Adhere to GracePath Healthcares safeguarding and confidentiality policies.
Attend regular training, supervisions, and team meetings to ensure continuous professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
Ability to follow care plans and work under supervision.
Basic written and spoken English proficiency.
Commitment to providing person-centred care.
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Experience Previous experience in domiciliary care, elderly care, or healthcare assistance is preferred but not mandatory .

Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Working Hours Full-time hours: 35–48 hours per week (Live-out).
Flexible shifts available, including:
Morning (7:00 am – 2:00 pm)
Evening (4:00 pm – 10:00 pm)
Weekend rotations required.
Overtime available with enhanced pay rates.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic knowledge of health and safety standards in care settings.
Awareness of safeguarding practices and client confidentiality.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage time effectively.
Skilled in building trust and rapport with clients and families.
Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS checks and training certifications.
