Bring your leadership skills to our service, delivering essential equipment to the residents of Gloucestershire, and make a tangible difference in their lives alongside your GELS colleagues.<br><br><strong>About The Role<br><br></strong>Gloucestershire Equipment Loan Service (GELS) plays an important role in supporting the care sector in Gloucestershire, delivering community equipment on behalf of Health and Social Care to residents in Gloucestershire.<br><br>Join our team as a Logistics Team Leader and take charge of a dynamic team responsible for coordinating deliveries, collections and maintenance of crucial medical equipment.<br><br>This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, development and performance of a team of Logistic Officers and Logistic Assistants. You will provide clear direction, set expectations, manage performance, support professional development and create a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Lead and line manage a team of Logistic Officers (drivers) and Logistic Assistants (driver’s assistants). </li><li> Oversee the planning and allocation of work to the team. </li><li> Ensure business needs and KPIs are met. </li><li> Responsible for monitoring and improving performance and service standards. <br><br><br></li></ul>This is a great opportunity to join an established and supportive team, making a difference to people in Gloucestershire.
