Ensure the safety and security of the store and its assets at all times. Monitor and observe customer and employee behavior to identify potential theft or security threats. Conduct thorough investigations into any incidents of theft or security breaches. Collaborate with store management and law enforcement to handle any security-related issues. Maintain a high level of awareness and attention to detail while on duty. Regularly review security procedures and make recommendations for improvements. Train and educate store employees on loss prevention best practices. Monitor and review surveillance footage to identify any suspicious activity. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to loss prevention. Communicate effectively with customers and employees to defuse any potential conflicts or security concerns. Complete detailed reports on any security incidents or investigations. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention. Collaborate with other Loss Prevention Officers across locations to share information and resources. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
