What you\'ll do

Joining our Commercial Operations team in our Central London head office, as a Macro Space Analyst, your analysis and recommendations will directly influence key decisions and provide exposure to various stakeholders across different functions. Your main responsibility will be creating optimal space allocations to drive the best commercial outcomes and enhance the customer experience. Collaborating with trading teams, internal and external partners, you will contribute to the development of industry-leading tools and models. By evaluating store and category performance, you will identify opportunities to improve space utilisation and support the Macro Space Manager on various projects. Through effective communication and expert analysis, you will effectively articulate space recommendations and their impact on stakeholders. By achieving a balanced scorecard of measures, you will help drive customer choice, financial performance, and operational compliance. Your commitment to continuous learning and engagement with stakeholders will establish you as an \'expert\' in space recommendations. You\'ll also get to lead, develop and line manage in this role.

Who you are

As a Macro Space Analyst you are a highly analytical and influential professional who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will have a deep understanding of the grocery market and excellent data manipulation and analysis skills. You will be highly proficient in Excel and your recommendations and analysis directly impact key decisions, fostering collaboration with stakeholders across various functions in the organisation. Your expertise in retail, space optimisation and allocation enables you to deliver incremental sales, volume, and profit growth by creating optimal space allocations that enhance commercial and customer outcomes. With your excellent communication skills and ability to articulate space analysis outputs, you effectively engage with stakeholders and become recognised as an expert in space recommendations. Line management experience is preferred or you will need to demonstrate leading through projects and influencing cross functionally.
