Managed Security Sales Specialist

We are now hiring a Managed Security Specialist to join our Solutions Team and support the continued growth of our Managed Security portfolio. This role will focus on driving awareness, pipeline and revenue for our managed security services, working closely with sales teams, customers and service delivery specialists.

You will act as a subject matter expert for Phoenix’s managed security offerings, supporting customer engagement, sales enablement and opportunity development. Working with Account Managers, Business Development Managers and technical teams, you will help customers understand the value of our services and ensure the right solutions are positioned to meet their needs.

What will you be doing?
  • Support the growth and adoption of Phoenix’s managed security services portfolio.
  • Work closely with Account Managers and Business Development Managers to identify, qualify and progress opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted specialist resource during customer engagements, service introduction calls and solution discussions.
  • Present and demonstrate managed security solutions to prospective customers.
  • Support the creation of high-quality proposals, tenders and bid responses.
  • Collaborate with service delivery teams to understand service capabilities, operations and customer outcomes.
  • Deliver enablement sessions to internal sales teams, helping them identify and position managed security opportunities.
  • Support the development and execution of sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline information and contribute to forecasting activities.
  • Ensure all opportunities are tracked and managed through CRM systems.
  • Gather customer feedback and contribute to continual service improvement activities.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell across the wider Phoenix portfolio.
  • Maintain awareness of the evolving cyber security landscape and emerging threats affecting customers.

What are we looking for?
  • Understanding of managed security services and the wider cyber security market.
  • Awareness of modern cyber security technologies, including SIEM, XDR and EDR solutions.
  • Good understanding of the Microsoft Security ecosystem.
  • Experience supporting cyber security sales, pre-sales or customer engagement activities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills, both in person and virtually.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt within a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a managed security sales, pre-sales or customer-facing role.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience within managed security services, cyber security sales or a related field.
  • Experience working within IT services or managed services environments desirable.
  • Eligibility to obtain or already have SC Clearance.

Hybrid working is supported, with flexibility depending on customer and business requirements.

How many interviews?
Following a screen with the Recruitment Team, you can expect a two-stage interview process, one online and one in-person.

Important BPSS Check

As part of our recruitment process and due to the nature of the work we do, all employees are required to undertake a BPSS check. While some employees may require further security clearance, the BPSS check is mandatory and all offers of employment are conditional upon successful completion.
