Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.<br><br><strong>Netflix is seeking a Manager, Production Management to join the India Production team and support an expanding slate of Unscripted Originals.<br><br></strong>This role will partner closely with the <strong>Unscripted Production Management Lead, </strong>Creative, Production Finance, Business & Legal Affairs, Production Safety, Post Production, Marketing, Publicity, and external production partners to support titles from development through delivery. The position will play a critical role in evaluating production strategies, assessing budgets and schedules, mitigating risks, and helping productions deliver creative ambition responsibly and efficiently.<br><br>As Netflix continues to expand its Unscripted slate across formats, scale, and complexity, we are looking for a strong production manager who can successfully partner across teams, support multiple productions simultaneously, and help drive operational excellence across the slate.<br><br><strong>The Role<br><br></strong>A successful candidate will be passionate about storytelling, highly organized, solutions-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.<br><br>This individual should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, building strong relationships across a diverse stakeholder group, and influencing decision-making through expertise and collaboration. They should possess strong production judgment, a deep understanding of unscripted production ecosystems, and the ability to identify risks and opportunities early in a project's lifecycle.<br><br>The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound judgment, communicates clearly and concisely, and brings a collaborative approach to problem-solving.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Manage assigned Netflix Unscripted Originals from development through delivery.</li><li>Partner with the Unscripted Production Management Lead on production planning, execution, and operational priorities across the slate.</li><li>Evaluate production plans, budgets, schedules, staffing strategies, and operational approaches.</li><li>Work closely with production companies to identify efficiencies while preserving creative intent.</li><li>Support production feasibility assessments and operational risk evaluations during development and greenlight discussions.</li><li>Provide visibility on production status, emerging risks, key decisions, and cost implications.</li><li>Support productions through prep, shoot, post-production, and delivery.</li><li>Drive alignment across internal cross-functional stakeholders and external production partners.</li><li>Contribute to the development and implementation of production workflows, best practices, and operational standards across the Unscripted slate.</li><li>Support innovation in production methodologies, technology adoption, sustainability initiatives, and evolving production workflows.</li><li>Demonstrate the ability to independently manage productions while escalating risks, key decisions, and business impacts appropriately.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>10-15 years of hands-on production experience across Unscripted television, streaming content, documentary formats, reality programming, competition formats, factual entertainment, or large-scale live productions.</li><li>Experience working as an Executive Producer or equivalent leadership role across multiple long-form productions.</li><li>Demonstrated experience managing productions from development through delivery.</li><li>Strong budgeting, scheduling, and production planning expertise.</li><li>Deep understanding of the unique production challenges associated with Unscripted formats, including multi-camera productions, competition formats, documentary-style productions, large cast and contestant management, and location-intensive shoots.</li><li>Strong understanding of production workflows, crew structures, vendor ecosystems, and production operations.</li><li>Proven ability to identify risks early and develop practical solutions.</li><li>Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and operational rigor.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.</li><li>Comfortable operating independently while collaborating effectively across teams.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and production management tools.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Strong understanding of post-production workflows, including editorial, finishing, music, and delivery processes.</li><li>Familiarity with production technology, cloud-based workflows, remote collaboration tools, and emerging AI applications within content production.</li><li>Experience working across international productions or global streaming platforms.</li><li>Understanding of production sustainability practices and operational efficiency initiatives.</li><li>Familiarity with health and safety, duty of care, and production risk management practices.<br><br></li></ul>Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates.
