<p><strong>Medical Administrator – Remote</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Remote (UK), with initial in-person training in North London</p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> 16 hours per week, including Saturdays</p><p><strong>Salary: </strong>£26,000–£29,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience</p><p><strong>Contract: </strong>Permanent, part-time</p><p><strong>Please note: applicants must be based within easy travelling distance of North London and be available to attend initial training in person. Previous healthcare or medical administration experience is essential.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We're looking for an experienced<strong> Medical Administrator </strong>to join our growing team.</p><p>This is a patient-facing administrative role at the heart of how we deliver our service. You'll often be the first person our patients or their families speak to, so you'll need to combine excellent organisation with a warm, calm and professional telephone manner.</p><p>You'll work closely with our physiotherapy team, coordinating home visits across the UK, managing calls and emails, maintaining patient records and preparing clinical correspondence.</p><p>The role is fully remote once training is complete. You'll work from home across four weekdays and Saturday, with comprehensive in-person training provided at our North London base before you start.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you'll be doing: </strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Scheduling and diaries: </strong>Coordinating home visits across our physiotherapy team, taking account of patient availability and travel logistics.</li><li><strong>Patients, calls and emails: </strong>Booking new patients, answering queries from patients and families, and managing changes to appointments.</li><li><strong>Patient records: </strong>Maintaining accurate, up-to-date patient information across our systems.</li><li><strong>Clinical administration: </strong>Typing and preparing clinical correspondence and supporting the physiotherapy team with administrative tasks.</li><li><strong>General administration: </strong>Helping keep the service organised, efficient and running smoothly.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Who we are looking for: </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Previous experience in healthcare or medical administration is essential. </strong>We're particularly interested in candidates who have worked in a GP practice, private healthcare, NHS setting, clinic or similar patient-facing environment.</p><p><br></p><p>You'll also need:</p><ul><li>A warm, confident and professional telephone manner</li><li>Excellent written and spoken English</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Experience managing confidential patient information</li><li>Confidence using multiple computer systems and the ability to learn new software quickly</li><li>Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities</li><li>The ability to work independently from home and use initiative</li><li>A reliable and collaborative approach to working as part of a small team</li><li>Availability to work 16 hours per week, including Saturdays</li><li>The ability to attend initial training in North London</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>About Home Physio Group</strong></p><p>We're a UK-wide private physiotherapy provider specialising in home visits.</p><p>Our patients are often older adults recovering from surgery, a fall or a long-term condition — people for whom travelling to a clinic can be difficult, painful or impossible.</p><p>We're a small, close-knit team, growing steadily and proud of the standard of care we deliver.
