Medical Biller - A/R Specialist (Remote -30 Hours/Week) Company:Arista Solutions Position Type:Part-Time (30 hours/week) Location:Remote (U.S.-based candidates only) Company Description Arista Solutions Inc.is a certified and accredited Medical Billing & Practice Management company with an Arating from the Better Business Bureau.Specializing in customized services for physicians across the United States, Arista Solutions supports a wide range of specialties, including OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Plastic Surgery, GI, and Anesthesiology.As a client-focused organization, the company tailors its offerings to meet the unique operational and financial needs of each medical practice.By enhancing functionality and profitability, Arista Solutions enables physicians to deliver exceptional patient care.Each client is provided with professional and compassionate support designed to streamline practice operations.Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller / AR Specialist to join our growing medical billing company.This role requires a professional who can step in with minimal training , manage multiple specialties, and communicate clearly with patients and insurance carriers.This is a remote position with flexible hours; however, availability is required to answer office phone lines between 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM EST.Core Responsibilities OBGYN Accounts Receivable (AthenaHealth) Work AR, denials, and appeals Access payer portals and follow up on outstanding claims Maintain timely and accurate claim resolution Patient Statements & Practice Maintenance Ensure patient statements are accurate, timely, and compliant Communicate balances professionally and clearly Out-of-Network Prior Authorizations Obtain OON prior authorizations for two Plastic Surgery practices Work with all major commercial payers This is a primary responsibility and prior experience is required Phone Coverage (1-5 PM EST) Answer billing calls via company VOIP line Address patient billing questions for:OBGYN (AthenaHealth) GI (CollaborateMD) Plastic Surgery (AdvancedMD) Escalate complex issues as needed (supervisors always available) Required Experience & Skills Medical billing experience required (no entry-level applicants) Specialty experience in:OBGYN GI Plastic Surgery (Out-of-Network billing & authorizations) Strong understanding of:Commercial insurance plans Deductibles, coinsurance, and patient responsibility Experience explaining patient balances professionally and clearly Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Dedicated, private home workspace required Software Experience AthenaHealth (required) CollaborateMD (preferred) AdvancedMD (preferred) Microsoft 365 Codify by AAPC (provided) Schedule & Flexibility 30 hours per week:25 core hours during the week:Required phone availability:Monday-Friday, 1:00-5:00 PM EST 5 flexible hours may be completed at the employee's discretion (evenings or weekends permitted, as long as work is completed) Compensation & Growth Competitive hourly rate based on experience Microsoft 365 Business Professional provided Codify (AAPC) provided Significant opportunity for growth Full-time position available after 6 months based on performance and business need Paid Time Off & Sick Time 2 weeks of Paid Time Off granted after 6 months of independent work PTO may be used for vacation or personal time Compensation:$28-$38/hour, commensurate with experience Company Culture We are a small company and value transparency, flexibility, and mutual respect.We are a supportive, communicative, and professional team that values accountability, collaboration, and work-life balance.We are looking for a team player who takes ownership of their work and communicates proactively.We work closely together and we love our clients.If you meet the above requirements and want to join a fun, professional team with flexibility and room for growth, please email your resume to jobs@aristasolutionsinc.com..
