We're working with a leading workplace Design & Build consultancy looking for a client-focused Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who enjoys building long-term client relationships as much as creating exceptional workplace environments.
This role combines hands-on interior design with account management, giving you ownership of key client accounts and the opportunity to deliver multiple workplace projects from brief through to completion.
The Role
As a Mid-Weight Interior Designer – Account Manager, you'll act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, developing trusted relationships while managing workplace fit-out, refurbishment and churn projects.
Working alongside senior designers, project managers and technical teams, you'll oversee the full design process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to an exceptional standard. You'll also identify opportunities for additional work, helping to grow existing client accounts through excellent service and commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of workplace clients, developing strong long-term relationships.

Lead projects from initial brief through design development and project completion.

Produce creative workplace concepts, presentations and client proposals.

Coordinate internal design, technical and delivery teams throughout each project.

Attend client meetings, site visits and design workshops.

Prepare presentations, mood boards and design documentation.

Manage project programmes, budgets and client expectations.

Identify opportunities for repeat business and additional project work within existing accounts.

Work closely with senior leadership to ensure exceptional client satisfaction.

Maintain clear communication with contractors, consultants and suppliers throughout project delivery.
Skills & Experience

Experience working on commercial workplace interior projects.

Previous experience within a Design & Build environment is highly desirable.

Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.

Experience managing projects through multiple stages of delivery.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Commercial awareness with the ability to spot opportunities for account growth.

Good technical understanding and experience producing design packages.

Revit experience is desirable but not essential.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
