This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape motion graphics across multiple digital platforms, including social media, web, and promotional campaigns. You will drive creative vision, mentor a team of designers and animators, and ensure all assets are polished, on-brand, and optimized for their intended platforms. The position requires strong leadership, project management skills, and a passion for innovative motion design. You will collaborate with directors, producers, and stakeholders to bring concepts to life, manage timelines and budgets, and integrate the latest motion and animation technologies to create high-impact visual content. This is a high-profile role with significant influence on brand storytelling and visual communications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of motion graphics and animations from concept through polished delivery across social, web, and promotional channels
- Mentor and guide designers and animators, embedding best practices and ensuring high-quality output
- Set and maintain production pipelines, managing software, hardware, and asset workflows
- Drive projects with clear timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring work lands on brief and on time
- Collaborate closely with directors, producers, editors, and business stakeholders to shape creative content
- Present concepts confidently to clients and internal teams, incorporating feedback to improve outcomes
- Integrate the latest motion, animation, and video technologies to enhance content campaigns and brand initiatives
Requirements
- Extensive experience leading motion graphics or video production teams, ideally within media or publishing
- Proven portfolio demonstrating motion design, animation, and video skills, showcasing range, craft, and storytelling impact
- Strong project planning skills, with the ability to manage multi-platform projects, briefs, and pipelines effectively
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail capabilities
- Skilled at collaborating and mentoring teams, providing constructive feedback and fostering a high-performing environment
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D (or similar), and the wider Adobe Creative Suite
- Comfortable creating visually compelling presentations in Adobe, Google Slides, Canva, or PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills and ability to inspire and influence both internal and external stakeholders
