PA Required for 17 year old female with learning disabilities 4hrs p/w @ £9.18 p/h - Leeds - LS26 <div>JOB TITLE Personal Assistant <br>HOURS 4 hours per week to be flexible.<br>WAGE £9.18 per hour<br>LOCATION Based in my own home in LS26 and in the wider community <br><br></div><h1>PURPOSE OF JOB </h1><div><br>I am a 17 year old female with learning disabilities and I live with my mum. I require a person who can provide the assistance I require under my direction. <br><br>My personal assistant must be reliable. The person I employ will have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work including total respect for me and my family’s privacy.<br><br>The role is 4 hours per week on a flexible basis. Any scheduling of shifts will be discussed with you in advance.  <br><br><strong>SUPERVISION</strong> <br><br>My personal assistant will be directed by and accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They will always ask what is required and not make assumptions about any aspect of the assistance I need or how it should be carried out. <br><br><strong>MAIN DUTIES</strong><em><br><br></em>The personal assistant will be required to do the following tasks and may be asked to carry out other tasks of a similar nature. I will inform them of which tasks need carrying out on a particular day. <br><br>-Support me to access social activities <br>-Support me making/meeting new friends.<br>-Support me with managing my finances.<br>- Support me to attend hospital/GP appointments.<br>- Support me to learn new domestic skills (cooking).<br>- A car driver is desirable but not essential</div>
