Parcelforce Seasonal Warehouse Operative (Christmas) - London East Depot - Night Shift

Join our team for the Christmas season and become a vital part of the operations as a Warehouse Operative with Parcelforce. This role is ideal for those seeking a dynamic work environment and the chance to be part of a historic service that connects people and businesses every day.


Day-to-day of the role:

·            Load and unload parcels.

·            Move parcels through the warehouse safely and efficiently.

·            Sort parcels to correct delivery route and prepare trailers for drivers and onward transport.

·            Securely handle all items in the warehouse, including handling specific items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail standards.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

·            No previous experience required; however, experience in similar environments is a bonus.

·            Flexibility and comfort in switching between tasks.

·            Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg and push loads up to 250kg (with assistance for heavier items).

·            Physical fitness and ability to manage long shifts on your feet.

·            Motivation, reliability, and readiness to work as part of a team.


Starting Pay Rate:

·            Monday to Saturday Days: 06:00 - 20:00 - £14.91 per hour

·            Monday to Saturday Nights: 20:00 - 06:00 - £17.65 per hour


Shift Days and Hours: Sunday to Friday: 22:00 - 07:00
