Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
  • Process accounts payable by reviewing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements regularly to ensure consistency between records and actual account balances.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements as needed.
  • Prepare financial reports, summaries, and documentation to support internal audits and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve bookkeeping procedures and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Support month-end closing activities by organizing financial data and preparing necessary documentation.
Skills
  • Proficiency with popular accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
