Part Time Cafe Assistant

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Cafe Assistant to join our team in a hands on all rounder position.

This is a varied role covering both front of house and kitchen duties. You’ll be serving customers, making drinks, taking orders, using the till, preparing food and helping to cook breakfast and lunch dishes.

Regular weekend availability is essential, and you must also be available to work scheduled evening events throughout the year, particularly during seasonal periods such as Halloween and Christmas.

Duties will include serving customers, preparing food and drinks, supporting kitchen service, keeping front of house and kitchen areas clean and organised, restocking, following food safety procedures and helping the team during busy periods.

Previous cafe, hospitality or kitchen experience is preferred, but we’re also happy to train the right person who is confident, reliable and willing to learn.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Happy to work both front of house and in the kitchen
  • Comfortable working in a busy environment
  • Available for regular weekend work
  • Available for scheduled evening events
  • Flexible and willing to support the team when needed
