Busy Hotel in the Heart of Nottingham

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Person to join our busy hotel team in Nottingham city centre.

This is a varied role, ideal for someone who is practical, hands-on and confident dealing with a range of general maintenance tasks. No two days are necessarily the same, so we are looking for someone who can troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions.

The role may include:

General repairs and maintenance throughout the hotel

Basic plumbing and electrical work

Painting and decorating

Furniture, fixtures and fittings repairs

Dealing with general wear and tear

Carrying out routine checks and preventative maintenance

Responding to maintenance issues as they arise

Keeping the hotel and guest areas in good working condition

About you:

Previous maintenance experience is essential

Skilled across a variety of maintenance areas

Practical, reliable and able to work independently

Good problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and a good eye for things that need fixing

Flexible and willing to help wherever needed

Previous hotel or commercial property maintenance experience would be an advantage
