The Role

As a Patient Services Receptionist with us, you\'ll play a pivotal role in providing excellent patient care, performing efficient and professional receptionist duties, and providing general administrative support as required. What You\'ll Do

  • Be the first point of contact for the centre, meeting and greeting patients, staff and visitors, ensuring a professional and efficient service
  • Support with Patient Administration duties as required
  • Answer telephone calls politely, promptly, and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming reception
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent cover for the centre’s reception
  • Undertake a range of admin duties to ensure the smooth running of the centre

What You\'ll Have

Experience and skills:

  • Experience of looking after a busy reception area
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in a customer focused environment
  • Evidence of effective staff liaison and cooperative working
  • Evidence of an empathetic approach to patients and/or customers
  • Experience with resolving complaints satisfactorily
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Experience within a diverse range of administrative roles

Qualifications And Knowledge

  • Be proficient in all MS Office packages including, but not limited to, Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Previously worked within the healthcare sector preferred, not essential
