Job Title: Personal Assistant to a High-Profile Principal (Legal Background Essential)

Location: Wherever the day takes you — Central London base, with regular travel and remote working

Salary: £42,000–£50,000, dependent on experience

Type: Full-time, permanent

About the Role

This isn't a desk-bound 9-to-5. You'll be working alongside a high-profile, fast-moving principal whose priorities shift by the hour and whose diary rarely looks the same two days running. One day you could be in a Central London office, the next working remotely, the next on the road, wherever the business needs you to be. If you thrive on unpredictability, love being trusted with real responsibility, and want a role that's genuinely different from anything you've done before, this is it.

You'll sit right at the centre of the action: gatekeeping the diary, managing information flow, and bringing calm, structured thinking to a working environment that moves fast and rarely slows down.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Owning a demanding, ever-changing diary, reprioritising at speed and without fuss, including evenings and weekends when it's needed
  • Getting ahead of every meeting, call and decision, pulling together exactly what's needed before anyone has to ask
  • Reviewing contracts, letters and correspondence with a sharp eye for detail
  • Drafting and proofreading documents and paperwork on the principal's behalf
  • Keeping order across files, documents and projects, even when everything else is moving fast
  • Working closely with the principal's existing PA to keep everything joined up
  • Supporting with HR admin: contracts, policies, correspondence
  • Travelling when required, at short notice

Who We're Looking For

  • A true multitasker and forward thinker who's energised by variety, not overwhelmed by it
  • At least 3 years' PA experience, ideally in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment
  • A qualified legal secretary or paralegal background is essential; commercial and employment law exposure a bonus
  • Experience supporting a high-net-worth or high-profile principal, with natural discretion and polish
  • Genuinely flexible: comfortable with shifting hours, last-minute changes, and being wherever you're needed, not just where you expect to be
  • London-based and ready to travel
  • No specific industry background required, we're far more interested in attitude and adaptability than your CV's job titles

Company: Confidential, full details shared with shortlisted candidates

To Apply: Send your CV to studio@goldrecordings.com with a short note on your legal secretarial background, and tell us about a time you thrived when everything changed at the last minute.
