You will be assessing patient consultations remotely and prescribing repeat GLP-1 medication where clinically appropriate, in line with GPHC guidelines and internal SOP’s. </p><p><b> </b></p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">·</span><span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Keep up to date with NICE guidelines on weight management and obesity treatment.</p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">·</span><span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Maintain accurate patient records in line with data protection (GDPR) </p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">·</span><span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Strong knowledge of weight management, nutrition, and obesity guidelines.</p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">·</span><span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Review and assess online patient consultations for repeat weight loss medication </p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">·</span><span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Prescribe GLP-1 medication</p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">·</span><span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Identify contraindications, safeguarding and red flags</p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">·</span><span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Request additional information or decline treatment where clinically necessary </p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">·</span><span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Ensure prescribing aligns with, GPHC standards /Company SOP’s and clinical pathways</p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">·</span><span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Provide clear and accurate patient counselling </p><p><b> </b></p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>Essential requirements </b></p><p><b> </b></p><p>❖<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Registered with the GPHC</p><p>❖<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Qualified Independent Prescriber </p><p>❖<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Insurance – must be provided </p><p>❖<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Must have a personal laptop </p><p>❖<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Must have a Right to Work in the UK</p><p>❖<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Previous experience of GLP1 medication – for weight loss (ideal) </p><p>❖<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Ability to work independently in a remote environment </p><p>❖<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Must be IT literate</p><p>❖<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Up to date with mandatory training </p><p>❖<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacists who want to work differently </p><p> </p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>About us</b></p><p>GPDQ provides nationwide healthcare services for individuals, businesses, and the NHS.
