PERMANENT FULL-TIME LIVE-IN DOMESTIC COUPLE JOB

LIVE-IN DOMESTIC COUPLE JOB | KESTON, LONDON, UK

Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 Gross per Year

PHS Job 3384

Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a professional and experienced Live-In Domestic Couple to join a welcoming private household based in Keston, a desirable village just outside of London. This is a permanent, full-time role, ideal for a couple seeking a long-term position within a well-structured and fully supported household.

The residence is sizeable and maintained to a high standard, with an existing full-time weekday housekeeper in place. The successful couple will work collaboratively with the current staff member, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the home while maintaining exceptional levels of organisation, cleanliness, and service. The household is home to two children, aged 1 and 16, as well as two small Pomeranian dogs.

The family is informal yet values professionalism, discretion, and a proactive approach.

One partner will focus primarily on housekeeping and cooking, assisting with the upkeep of the large property. Duties will include daily cleaning, laundry, ironing, and meal preparation. Lunches within the household are typically light, while dinners require a more substantial and well-prepared approach. The family is open to a wide range of cuisines and appreciates flexibility and creativity in the kitchen.

The second partner will take responsibility for house management, including overseeing contractors, handling minor maintenance tasks, managing household systems such as CCTV and alarms, and supporting the existing gardener when required. Driving duties may also be involved. While this is not a nanny position, the housekeeping partner will be expected to provide occasional support to the mother, particularly over weekends, by assisting with the one-year-old child on an ad hoc basis (for example, supervising the child during appointments).

The family travels for approximately two months during the summer, offering a more relaxed schedule and the opportunity to undertake deep cleaning and organisational projects. A private self-contained flat within the main residence is provided, featuring a separate entrance. All bills and food are covered.
